Attorneys & Legal Professionals Referrals

As a legal professional, clients rely on your advice and counsel, and they may turn to you after they experience property damage. When this happens, the best way for you to help them with their insurance claim is to refer them to a savvy public adjuster.

Navigating an insurance claim is time-consuming and filled with unexpected challenges. While you may want to help your client in the claims process, offering a professional referral may be the best thing you can do for them. As public adjusters, we have the expertise necessary to rapidly negotiate a fair settlement.

WHY AVNER GAT PUBLIC ADJUSTERS?

Our business is simple. We know the ins and outs of insurance policies and how to provide insurance companies with the information that they need to get our clients what they are owed. Our team exclusively represents policyholders and we will manage the negotiations to reach a fair settlement for your client.

HOW WE’LL WORK TOGETHER

The first stage of the claims process is to evaluate the client’s insurance policy. It’s critical that we comply with any reporting requirements or time-specific notification requirements in the policy. A simple misstep at this stage might provide the insurance company with the legal standing to deny the claim.

After learning more about the policy, we’ll sit down with the client and evaluate the different paths to recovery. At this stage, we’re learning more about the client’s priorities. Are they faced with lost or damaged inventory that they’ll need to include in the settlement? Do they have tenants living on their property that they are responsible for? By answering these questions, we can determine the best strategy to reach your client’s overall goals.

We’ve managed hundreds of claims throughout Southern California, and we’ll leverage that expertise in order to prepare a comprehensive, documented recovery estimate. Additionally, we’ll take on the responsibility of coordinating inspections and meetings with the representatives from the insurance company. (Between corporate adjusters, forensic accountants, and restoration professionals – this can be a very time-consuming task.)

Finally, after carefully reviewing the documentation with your client, we’ll submit the itemized claim package on their behalf and begin to deal directly with the insurance adjuster. We believe that policyholders deserve the maximum settlement that they are entitled to under their policy, and we will fiercely advocate for each client to ensure that they receive a fast and fair payout.
